4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1 Jar Cranberry Cabernet Spread
1/2 cup broth or water
2 garlic cloves, peeled & smashed
1 jalapeno, chopped
the zest and juice of one lime
a handful of parsley (chopped)
Salt and Pepper
Misc. Toppings (shredded cabbage, avocado, sour cream)
Place onions in bottom of crock pot. Generously rub chicken with salt and pepper, place in crock pot, mix all other ingredients and a bowl and pour on top of chicken. Cook on low for 3-6 hours (or until chicken is tender enough to be shredded). Remove chicken and shred.
Serve with your favorite toppings in flour tortillas and a side of rice and beans.
