Description
Ingredients we assume you already have in your pantry:
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 2 cups water
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Ingredients included in your delivery:
- 10 oz. Talluto’s rigatoni
- 1 lb Italian sausage, casing removed and crumbled
- 2 stalks celery, sliced thin
- 1/2 cup onion, coarsely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 4 cups chicken stock
- 1 jar Graziano’s marinara
- 1 loaf multi-grain bread
Rigatoni & Sausage Soup Recipe Instructions:
- Heat olive oil in a 6 quart pot
- Brown the crumbled sausage over high heat until cooked, about 4 minutes
- Remove sausage and set aside
- Add garlic, celery, onion, salt, & pepper to the pot…saute for 1 minute
- Add chicken stock and water, cover and bring to a boil
- Once boiling, add rigatoni, stir well, cover, and cook for 4 1/2 minutes
- Return cooked sausage to the pot and add the marinara.
- Mix well and serve with your choice of bread
